Chronicle
The Early Days
As a young child
growing up on a small farm in Laurel,
Mississippi; self-reliance and
ingenuity were necessary traits for
success. My off-time was spent playing
video games and the classic strategical
board games; forever immersing myself
deeper into an understanding of logic
and language.
As I grew I saw the growing importance and eventual necessity of computers. Promptly after graduating from Mississippi State University, I obtained a position focused on implenting technology-based learning labs in high schools and universities all over Mississippi, Louisiana, and Arkansas. Labs utilizing a myriad of types of software, such as real-time grade calculation and reporting, 3D modeling, student/employee monitoring software, as well as complex machinery: automated (CNC) mills and lathes, 3D printers, and robotics.
Education
I developed my leadership capabilities through years of membership in the FFA (Future Farmers of America). In college, I majored in Communication Studies; where, I relished in my studies of Human interaction. Studying the works of Aristotle, Marshall Mcluhan, and Chaim Perelman; just to name a few. Mixed with 5½ years of experience working with such a differse collection of products in the educational markets; I have developed a strong sense of the power of Service, the importance of Communication, and the need to continually Learn and Adapt.
